Chronic Pain – Wellbeing Workshops

24 November 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

What to expect from the workshop? Each workshop is an hour long and will be held on MS Teams. They are single, standalone sessions where we aim to provide educational information on a specific wellbeing topic. We will also provide general, evidence-backed strategies on how you can look after your wellbeing and improve your quality of life. If you feel that the workshop isn’t enough, I would recommend you still come along as we also share information on how Newham Talking Therapies can offer further support for your mental health and general wellbeing.
What topics do you cover?
·We cover common mental health and wellbeing issues. For instance, we provide workshops on managing low mood, anxiety… using mindfulness to manage emotional difficulties & stress … the relationship between food and mood and so on – to find out more, please have a look at the posters attached.
·We also cover topics related to long-term health conditions (LTC) – also attached in the email. For any questions regarding LTC workshops, please email Jayshree (cc’d in the email)
·We also run a workshop space dedicated for staff working in health, education and social care sectors. This month, we will be providing a space to think about how your confidence affects your work life and vice versa.
Who can attend?Anyone aged 18 and older who live, work or study in the area are welcome to attend. We can only allow a person to attend 1 workshop per month so if you’d like to attend multiple workshops, please make sure that you have registered them for different months.
