In order to engage and retain talent in our workforce and improve gender diversity and equity of working conditions, we must both create space for women’s health conversations and introduce policies to pro-actively improve women’s health in the workplace.
As NHS and health and care workforce, we know that women experience different health issues, interact with the healthcare system differently, and are more often caregivers compared with their male counterparts, adding a different and specific complexities to our health and well-being.
The NEL CCGs Women’s Staff Network alongside the NEL Primary Care Training hub network, Barts Health NHS Trust and ELFT Women’s networks are pleased to support this seminar as the first of many discussions themed on women’s health.
Book your place at the upcoming seminar on women’s health in the workplace, which explores five key themes that our Women’s Networks have told us are important to them:
- Access to primary and secondary specialist women’s healthcare
- Mental Health & Wellbeing
- Menopause
- Maternity & Post-natal Care
- Exploring intersectionality in women’s health
