The aims of GP simulation are:

To understand principles of good practice in remote consultations and apply this to consulting with patients in primary care
To consider the advantages and disadvantages of remote consultations and clinical skills, including its practicalities, limitations and pitfalls
To demonstrate effective and sensitive communication skills including adaptability in non-verbal and verbal communication in remote consults
To demonstrate ability to take a focussed history and undertake remote examination skills to diagnose and manage patients in primary care
