To support practices with the TNW Medicines Optimisation Scheme 2021-22, the second education training session will be taking place on Friday 17th September 2021.
The session will take place via MS Teams from 12:00pm-13:00pm.
The session will provide an overview of managing adult patients prescribed oral nutritional supplements.
Adrian Gilson, Prescribing and Community Nutrition Support Dietitian will be conducting the session, which will focus on:
- MUST score
- When to de-prescribe ONS.
- General good practices in prescribing ONS appropriately.
All sessions will be recorded and available via the practice portal.
Practices are reminded to attend at least 2 education sessions/webinars relevant to medicines optimisation scheme and submit action plans.
