We are holding online drop-in sessions to support employers who have registered a foundation training programme in North East London as part of the national foundation trainee pharmacist recruitment scheme, and to answer any questions they may have.
As most foundation trainee pharmacists will register as independent prescribers at the end of the 2025-26 foundation training year, implementing the requirements for the 2025-26 foundation training year includes:
- providing trainees with access to a prescribing learning environment and,
- providing a Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) during their training.
We are keen to identify employers who have registered programmes for national recruitment where a prescribing learning environment and DPP are yet to be identified. We hope to facilitate conversations between interested partners where possible.
