**********

“As healthcare practitioners, we care for people day in, day out who have experienced distressing or disturbing events in their lives. It’s also likely that we as staff have experienced these situations too.

“An awareness of trauma and how to manage it can help us in providing care, aid recovery and identify ongoing support to help build resilience. We hope you’ll find these sessions valuable personally and professionally, and we’d value your feedback following them.’

Kath Evans, Director of Nursing (Children) & Clare Hughes, Associate Director of Safeguarding, Barts Health
