We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a regional education event on Tuesday 6^th February 2024. This full day face-to-face event will be an opportunity to:

• Describe the current and future landscape of workforce, education and training for the pharmacy professions across all sectors.
• Discuss key priority areas of pharmacy workforce development in relation to the ambitions of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan and population health needs across London.

• Explore potential operational implications resulting from the implementation of the Standards of Initial Educational and Training for Pharmacists on prescribing practice and the wider workforce.
• Consider the scope for Pharmacy Technician and support staff roles across all sectors, to maximise effective use of skill mix to support workforce transformation.
• Describe the challenges and opportunities of training the workforce to be independent prescribers alongside the development and implementation of prescribing services in community pharmacy.
