Welcome & Noticeboard
This is an opportunity for any of us to share with the group things we’ve discovered that might be helpful – such as interesting upcoming events, useful resources, amazing tips we’ve heard, or just our own ideas.
Topic 1: What does personalisation and person centred care mean?
Join this interactive session to discuss the why behind personalisation, what it means on the ground for us in the consultation rooms and what the 6 point operating framework for personalisation is.
We will discuss the personalised care roles including social prescribing, health and wellbeing coaches and care coordinators and examples of how they help us. Bring along your thoughts and any examples on how we can do this in the very difficult landscape we work in – what has worked well or inpsired you? or what is not working well.
Dr Gaur is a GP in Newham and NEL Clinical Lead for Personalisation and really looking forward to meeting you all.
Topic 2: An update on fellowship related finances
This will be a discussion with Jonathan Sampson, who has a lead role in the fellowship scheme at national level, and who is interested in understanding the experiences of fellows on the ground, and is also able to explain how finance works with this scheme. Jonathan has been made aware of the challenges you guys have been facing in terms of flow of money.
