OVERVIEW
Health Education England (HEE) have funding available to support the development of both clinical and professional skills in Primary Care for newly qualified Physician Associates.
Having completed their pre-registration education, support for new graduates on entry into the workforce has been demonstrated to enhance confidence and competence.
There is a £5,000 preceptorship allowance to support the supervision and educational needs for newly qualified physician associates working in primary care in England.

Once employed by the practice, Practice leads should complete the application form in accordance to the PA Preceptorship Guidance, and return the application form to Newham Training Hub (nelondon.newhamtraininghub@nhs.net), along with the PA’s weekly timetable and induction programme.
