Did you know that primary care settings are the preferred and most commonly used setting for females to access contraception? Are you a GP, practice nurse or a physicians associate, who has an interest in knowing more about what’s involved in becoming a LARC fitter? Do you want to know about the support at hand to enable you to get the skills you need to become a confident fitter for implants and coils or either?
Come and join this 1 hour lunch time session which will cover the following:
- The entry requirements and pre requisites of becoming a fitter
- Support, hints and tips to complete the OTA (online theory assessment)
- The pathway to complete your practical training,
- What the practical training would involve and most importantly how the FRT trainers will support you through the whole process.
- Experiences from local clinicians who have become skilled LARC fitters
- You will have the opportunity to ask questions
- Next steps for participants at the session
